I did cinnamon rolls for the first time. They came out pretty good. Next time I will make a video on how I did them. But for now here is the recipe.

Cinnamon Rolls

Basic Sweet Dough
2 and 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 and 1/4 teaspoons yeast (1 packet)
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup water
3 Tablespoons unsalted butter
1 large egg

Filling
3 Tablespoons butter, softened to room temperature
1 Tablespoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup granulated sugar

Icing
1 cup confectioners’ sugar
1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon of melted butter
2–3 Tablespoons milk.

Dough: Put flour, sugar, salt, and yeast together in a mixer, stirring it together. Set aside.

Combine the milk, water, and butter together in a saucepan. Heat until the butter is melted and the mixture is warm to touch. Pour into the dry ingredients, add one beaten egg, and mix until it forms a soft dough. On a lightly floured surface using floured hands, knead the dough for 3 minutes. Place in a lightly greased bowl, cover loosely, and let rest for about 10 minutes.

After a 10 minute rest, roll the dough out. Spread the softened butter on top. Mix together the cinnamon and sugar. Sprinkle it all over the dough. Roll up the dough tightly. Cut into even rolls and arrange in a lightly greased square 9-inch pan or pie plate. Cover with aluminum foil or plastic wrap and allow to rise in a warm for 1 hour.

Preheat oven to 375°F. Bake for 25-28 minutes until lightly browned.

Brush hot rolls with butter and then drizzle icing over the yummy hot buttered rolls. Enjoy them with hot coffee.

This recipe can be doubled to feed a large crowd.
